The Invitation

A small, intentionally curated gathering.

Where we explore the practice of self-tying as a tool for embodiment, containment, and inner connection.

This is not about performance. This is not about doing it "perfectly."

This is about learning how to hold yourself—physically, emotionally, energetically.
What is Somatic Self-Tying?

A return inward.

Using soft rope, you'll be guided to create simple, supportive ties on your own body.

Through gentle compression and intentional placement, the body begins to slow down, feel, and regulate.

What emerges is a deeply grounding experience—one that brings you back into your body in a way that is both powerful and profoundly nourishing.

Why this practice is so potent

The opposite of extending outward.

In a world where women are constantly:

holding others, tending, giving, extending outward—

this practice invites the opposite.

A return inward. A remembering of what it feels like to be held by yourself.
Benefits of Somatic Self-Tying

Five gifts of the practice.

Nervous System Regulation & Deep Rest

The gentle compression of rope can support a shift into the parasympathetic state, allowing your body to soften, exhale, and restore.

Embodiment Through Sensation

The sensation of rope on the body creates a clear, present-moment awareness—helping you drop out of the mind and into the body.

Containment & Energetic Boundaries

This practice can support you in feeling where you end and the world begins—gathering your energy back inward rather than constantly extending it outward.

Reconnection to Personal Power

There is something deeply activating about choosing your own containment. It can awaken a sense of:

Rewriting Patterns of Surrender & Control

For many women, this practice becomes a space to gently explore:

Always at your own pace. Always in choice.

What we'll do together

The arc of the ritual.

We'll close the experience softly—with time to ground, connect, and enjoy light snacks by the pool.

A note from me

This practice has been one of the most surprising and powerful tools in my own life.

It showed me how to slow down, feel again, and hold myself in moments where I used to reach outward.

It's a practice I believe more women deserve to experience—not as something external, but as something deeply their own.
